London: Faber, 1941
8vo, pp. 188. Original grey boards, lettered in red to spine. General age-toning to text block, but a very good copy in a very good example of the fragile dustwrapper, spine browned, some chipping with loss to head of spine (not affecting text), a couple of small chips and closed tears to top edge.
First UK edition. First published two months earlier in the US under the title The Double Man.
A little loss to the notoriously fragile dustwrapper, printed on thin wartime paper, but a respectable copy.
