The Girls of Gottenberg opened at the Gaiety theatre, London, on 15 May 1907, and ran for 303 performances before transferring to the Adelphi for a further 12 performances from 10 August 1908. Wodehouse's personal stationery of the period listed a song from this show, Our Little Way, as one of his 'recent successes', although it does not appear in the show's libretto, and Wodehouse's name does not appear as one of the lyricists on the title page of this full vocal score of the show.
With the inserted new number, Strolling and Patrolling, laid in.
