Commemorative edition, produced to celebrate the play's first anniversary, this copy SIGNED BY THE ENTIRE CAST, INCLUDING RALPH RICHARDSON IN HIS WEST END DEBUT.

Yellow Sandsopened at the Theatre Royal, Haymarket, on November 3rd, 1926, starring Cedric Hardwicke, Viola Lyel,Frank Vosper and a 23-year-old Ralph Richardson making his first West End appearance. The show's first birthday, and 464th performance, was marked with this commemorative edition of the text, a copy of which was placed on every seat in the house that evening. The production went on to notch up 610 performances.
Additionally signed by Horace Watson, the theatre manager, on the title page.

A beautiful copy, and a wonderful memento of Richardson's West End debut.
