4to green stiff paper folder, printed in black, holding green pamphlet and 25 loose pp. printed on Amalfi, and bearing the pamphlets contents in its authors' facsimile holograph. Copy of the Ilkley Literature Festival Extra (not called for) laid in. Some bumping to (outsize) edges of folder, but contents absolutely fine.

First edition. Foreword by Michael Dawson.

Published in honour of both Auden and the inaugural Ilkley Literature Festival, and featuring the work of ten poets invited to submit an original poem inspired by Auden's work, among them Roy Fuller, Peter Porter, George MacBeth and Jon Silkin. Auden also contributes a poem, Lullaby. The Festival's first event was a reading of the work published here at the King's Hall in Ilkley.

Laid in is a fine copy of the Ilkley Literature Festival Extra, a 4 pp. broadsheet accompaniment to the Festival which carries a front-page article about Auden by Nicholas Hawkins.
