New York: Richard Johns, 1931
Perfect bound 8vo, cream stiff paper wrappers, lettered in black to front panel and spine. Wrappers a little darkened, but a very good copy, tightly bound and unread.
Seventh issue of this influential literary magazine, edited by Richard Johns.
Running for twelve issues between 1930 and 1933, Pagany attracted contributions from the leading and emerging modernist writers of the time, many of them Paris expatriates. Contributors to this issue include William Carlos Williams (whose 1928 novel A Voyage to Pagany gave the magazine its name), E.E. Cummings, Edward Dahlberg, John Dos Passos, Mary Butts, Mina Loy and three cantos by Ezra Pound.
