Top edge gilt, leading and lower edges uncut. Line illustrations by E.H. Shepard throughout. Corners a little bumped, spine lightly faded, slight wear to spine ends. A well preserved copy, lacking the dust jacket.

First trade edition of this ageless collection of verses for children, the third volume of the Winnie the Pooh quartet, and featuring Shepard's perfect illustrations of childhood itself.

Laid in to this copy is a flyer advertising the exhibition of the original drawings for the book held at The Sporting Gallery in Covent Garden, London, in December 1927.
